About Us
Welcome to Ambleside Christian Academy!
We are proud to offer a Charlotte Mason inspired homeschooling program in the St Louis area.
Christ is our ultimate educator, but when it comes to schooling children, we believe that parents are the best suited educators for their children. Homeschooling can offer so many beautiful and unique opportunities for a family, but we recognize that there are a lot of responsibilities on parents' plates and that in some seasons, some aspects of homeschooling, like music, art, or nature walks may not happen as frequently as we would desire. To help support your homeschooling journey, we have created a one or two day a week drop off program filled with teachers and assistants that have a love and passion for educating children. We have curated our program to offer riches and other subjects that help our staff's gifts and talents shine, igniting sparks of interest in the children.
Besides academics and riches during our programs, our community is our biggest blessing. Going through this life alongside friends that become family is something we all cherish. There are opportunities for going on field trips or playdates, having community get-togethers, and we also have Mother Culture Nights where we continue to educate and equip ourselves to offer the best experience for our families.
